As a team of lifelong Petrie locals, we love and know Moreton Bay well. This familiarity shines in how we guide pricing, presentation, and strategy. We also take the time to understand what makes your home special, the type of buyer it will suit, and how to bring the right Buyers through the door.
While results matter, selling is also about what it represents. You moving on to your next home or investment. The new owner finding their perfect new place. Families stepping into our community. That’s the magic of selling a property, and it’s this ethos that makes working with Petrie Real Estate so rewarding.
If selling is one side of the story, finding the right place to land is the other.
Our team helps Buyers find homes across Petrie and the Moreton Bay region. We bring the same local knowledge, care, and straightforward advice to the buying process, helping you find a home that suits where you’re headed next.

Real estate is a people business. Nothing compares to sharing the excitement when our team call you with news that, your application’s been approved or your home has sold. Those moments are better when they’re felt together, human to human.

We treat every property with the care and attention it deserves, whether it’s being lived in, rented out, or sold to the next family.

Our priority is you, whether you’re a seller, buyer, lessor, or tenant. We’re responsive and prioritise emergency works for your safety and comfort, and to safeguard your property.
We meet you at the property, get a feel for the home, and talk through your goals and expectations.
Paperwork, pricing, strategy, photography, and marketing are organised.
Your home goes live on real estate sites, inspections begin, and buyer conversations roll in.
We negotiate calmly, clearly, and firmly on your behalf.
Building and pest, finance, contracts, and coordination until settlement day.
The keys handed over, funds are received, and it’s time to bring out the champagne.
In Queensland, Sellers are legally required to provide a Seller’s Disclosure Statement before a contract can be signed and getting it wrong can seriously unravel a sale.
If information is missing, incorrect, or not disclosed properly, Buyers may have the right to terminate the contract, even late in the process. In some cases, Sellers and Agents can also be exposed to disputes, delays, or legal action.
This statement should be prepared by your Solicitor or Conveyancer and typically takes around 10 to 15 business days. You can bring your property to market during this time, but contracts can’t be signed until it’s complete.
We’ll guide you through the timing and work closely with your legal team, so nothing trips you up. It’s not something we do on your behalf or recommend doing yourself, because when disclosure goes wrong, it can undo months of hard work very quickly.
What this means, simply:
New AML laws now require real estate agents to verify who’s buying and selling property, to help stop money laundering and crime.
What you’ll need to do:
How: You’ll get an email with a link to complete this online.
Why: It’s the law now — not because they suspect you of anything. Everyone goes through it.
